It’s not just about style — it’s about feeling right at home. Born to build. Built to last. From our family, with a smile.

Introducing Ellis Development

Ellis Development was founded on a legacy of craftsmanship, honesty, and a deep respect for the trades. As a second-generation builder with over 25 years of hands-on experience, I started this company to raise the bar in residential construction — not just through quality work, but through how we treat people.

At Ellis Development, we don’t just build homes. We build trust. We restore spaces, and sometimes relationships, after clients have been burned by other contractors. We believe in doing things the right way — not the easy way — and we show up every day with a commitment to deliver the kind of work that stands the test of time.

Our mission is simple: help homeowners create purposeful, long-lasting spaces through transparency, communication, and craftsmanship. Whether it’s a custom home, a kitchen remodel, or an ADU conversion, we approach every project with the same mindset — built to last, built with heart.

The Four Pillars of Ellis Development

1. Craftsmanship Over Corners
We don’t cut corners — we finish them. Quality isn’t optional, it’s standard.

2. Client-Centered Communication
No surprises, no silence. Just straight talk, clear timelines, and follow-through.

3. Legacy Built
We grew up in this — literally. With decades of family experience behind us, we carry forward a tradition of pride in our work.

4. Purpose-Driven Projects
We build with intention. Every detail has a reason, and every space we touch is tailored to how you live.

A Family Tradition Since 1981

"I’m Dan Ellis a second-generation builder, and someone who’s worked hands-on in just about every trade there is. I’ve framed walls, run electrical, set tile, poured concrete, and built homes from dirt to finish. Not because I had to but because I love this. I love building houses. I love taking an old, broken space and turning it into something people are proud to live in.

Ellis Development is more than a business to me. It’s a reflection of everything I’ve learned from my dad, from the trades, and from twenty-five years of getting my hands dirty. I built this company not just to carry on the legacy, but to push it further. I believe building is both a skill and an art, and I’m constantly chasing what’s possible in design, in execution, and in how we treat people along the way.

We don’t run on ego. We don’t treat clients like a line item. We listen, we show up, and we do it right. That means honest timelines, clear expectations, and a level of craftsmanship that actually stands for something.

This isn’t just a job it’s my calling. I’m here to build things that last not just the homes, but the relationships behind them."
